What to eat
Food is indeed a journey to the soul, and Colorado stands out as a remarkable destination for culinary exploration. This centennial state boasts an eclectic mix of flavors, showcasing dishes that range from indulgent deep-fried delights to fresh, organic creations. From hearty comfort foods like Colorado style pizza to innovative gourmet bites or Rocky mountain oysters, Colorado's diverse culinary landscape promises to satisfy every palate and leave you with unforgettable dining experiences.
While some people might turn their noses up at lamb, I find it to be a delightful culinary experience, especially knowing that it comes from one of the cleanest animals that rarely gets sick. Colorado, being the 4th largest sheep and lamb producer in the United States, offers these free-range lambs roam in hill habitats, foraging on an array of berries, plants, and grasses, which not only enhances their health but also contributes to a flavor profile and texture that is truly superior.
Trout holds a special place in Colorado cuisine, beloved by both locals and visitors alike. From grilling and smoking to baking and frying, trout can be prepared in countless delicious ways. Many restaurants across the state feature it on their menus

What to wear
In Texas, the typical dress code leans towards a casual yet put-together style where comfort meets charm. In larger cities, this style is favored unless one is heading out to upscale events or fine dining. With the state's hot climate, particularly during summer, it's wise to have a light jacket or sweater for those cooler evenings. Sun protection is essential; don't forget a hat and sunglasses. For more formal occasions, a nice pair of jeans paired with a dress shirt or a dressier skirt with a simple top fits the bill perfectly. In some regions, adding cowboy boots and a cowboy hat can elevate the outfit and provide a touch of Texas flair.
My aesthetic leans toward clean and simple designs, which I truly appreciate for their timeless elegance. However, I enjoy infusing a pop of color into my wardrobe from time to time, along with some subtle prints to keep things interesting. I find myself gravitating toward midi and maxi dresses, as they strike the perfect balance between fashion and comfort. Overall, my wardrobe reflects my preference for simplicity paired with occasional bursts of creativity. Additionally, #1 priority for me has been comfortable shoes. I suggest you invest in some good quality footwear.
