Monday Reset: Hidden Places to Dream About This Week

Hi friends, It’s Monday — and if you’re like me, sometimes Mondays feel a little heavy. Between responsibilities, work, and the everyday “to-dos,” it’s easy to get caught up and forget that life is meant to be lived fully, not just survived.

Why Planning Even a Small Trip Can Change Your Entire Week

One thing that’s changed my energy — and my mindset — is travel planning, even when a real trip isn’t immediately on the horizon.
Dreaming, researching, and setting intentions to explore somewhere — even a hidden local spot — resets my mind and fills me with something so important: hope.

✈️ How Travel Planning Became My Monday Reset

Over the last few months, I made a personal promise:
Every Monday, I allow myself to plan a little adventure.
It doesn’t have to be a big international trip.
Sometimes, it’s a hidden coastal town a few hours away.
Sometimes, it’s a beautiful nature trail I’ve never hiked.
Sometimes, it’s just saving ideas for a future escape.

Giving myself permission to explore (even through a screen) reminds me that life is bigger than my inbox or calendar.

🌿 How It Connects to Healthier Living

This simple act of travel dreaming became a part of my personal journey toward resetting my mind and body.
It’s just as important to our wellness as healthy eating, walking in nature, or practicing gratitude.

It’s a form of self-care we don’t talk about enough:

  • Travel inspires us.

  • It pulls us out of our daily routine.

  • It sparks hope, excitement, and purpose.

And believe it or not, just having something joyful to look forward to — even a small trip — can improve your health and happiness.

🗺️ This Week’s Challenge:

Find one small destination you'd love to explore — and start planning it.
It could be a hidden gem in your state, a day trip idea, or even an overnight stay somewhere cozy.

You deserve to have something beautiful on your horizon. 💛

Let’s dream a little:

✨ Where would you go if you could plan a small adventure right now?
Tell me in the comments — I’d love to hear your ideas and maybe even feature a few in a future post!
